The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings both decreased sharply.

At 9:00 a.m. on October 10, the SJC Gold Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at VND82.5 million/tael and the selling price at VND84.5 million/tael, down VND500,000 per tael compared to yesterday. This is also the selling price of SJC gold bars at commercial banks.

Similarly, the price of 24K gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also decreased for the second consecutive day. Currently, SJC Company is trading gold rings at VND81.6 million/tael for purchase and VND82.9 million/tael for sale, down VND200,000 per tael compared to yesterday. In the past 2 days, the price of gold rings has decreased by about VND400,0000.

PNJ Company bought gold rings at a higher price, around 81.8 million VND/tael and sold at 82.9 million VND/tael. Notably, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company sold plain gold rings at a lower price, around 82.88 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price plummets

Domestic gold prices have fluctuated continuously in recent days, due to the influence of world prices. In the international market, precious metals have plummeted in recent sessions. At 9:00 a.m., Vietnam time, today's gold price was traded at 2,610 USD/ounce, down nearly ten USD/ounce compared to the previous session.

If calculated from the peak of gold price at 2,680 USD/ounce, the precious metal has dropped significantly, equivalent to a decrease of about 2 million VND/tael.

World gold prices weakened amid the rising value of the USD. Crude oil prices fell to around 73.25 USD/barrel. US bond interest rates reached over 4%, stimulating investors to buy bonds, causing weak purchasing power on gold exchanges...

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 78.8 million VND/tael.
