The price of SJC gold was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at VND88.2 million/tael; the selling price was VND91.1 million/tael, an increase of VND200,000/tael in the buying price and VND100,000/tael in the selling price compared to the end of the previous session. The difference in the selling price of gold is VND2.9 million/tael higher than the buying price.
The price of 9999 gold today is listed by DOJI at 88.2 - 91.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael in buying and selling prices compared to the end of February 5. The difference in buying and selling prices of gold at DOJI has widened from 2.5 to 3 million VND/tael.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at VND88.2 - 89.2 million/tael. PNJ is keeping the price of SJC gold at VND88.2 - 91.2 million/tael.
SJC gold price at Phu Quy is traded by businesses at 88.0 - 91.0 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday.
Commercial banks such as Agribank , BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank listed the selling price of gold bars at 91 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, SJC bought 4-number 9 gold rings, type 1-2, for VND88 million and sold them for VND90.5 million, down VND100,000 compared to the end of yesterday. Thus, those who bought gold rings before the God of Wealth Day lost nearly VND3 million/tael. Notably, SJC sold 4-number 9 gold rings, type 0.5, for VND91.03 million, higher than gold bars.
Meanwhile, DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets adjusted the buying price up by VND200,000 and the selling price up by VND1 million, to VND88.2 million/tael and VND91 million/tael, respectively.
The buying and selling prices of PNJ brand gold rings are listed at 88.2 million VND/tael and 90.7 million VND/tael, a decrease of 100,000 VND in buying price, but an increase of 800,000 VND in selling price.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of plain round rings at 88.2 million VND/tael for buying and 90.95 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 100,000 VND for buying and 900,000 VND for selling.
Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 88.1 million VND/tael and selling at 90.5 million VND/tael, up 100,000 VND and 500,000 VND respectively.

Gold prices continued to hit record highs on Wednesday as investors sought safe-haven assets amid growing concerns over the US-China trade war and its potential impact on economic growth.
"Gold prices continue to be heavily influenced by trade uncertainty. The US imposed import tariffs on China and China retaliated almost immediately, causing safe-haven demand for gold to dominate the market," said Peter Grant, senior commodity strategist at Zaner Metals.
Investors are concerned that the escalating US-China trade tensions will affect economic growth in both countries. On February 4, China imposed tariffs on US goods in retaliation for Washington imposing a 10% tariff on all imports from the country. US President Donald Trump said he was in no rush to negotiate with Chinese President Xi Jinping to ease tensions.
According to CNBC, three US Federal Reserve (Fed) officials have warned that President Donald Trump's trade tariffs could boost inflation, in which one official said that uncertainty about the inflation outlook makes it slower to lower interest rates.
In addition, the newly released ADP report showed that the US private sector added 183,000 jobs last month, higher than the forecast of 150,000 jobs increase from economists. Investors are looking forward to the US non-farm payrolls report tomorrow for more clues on the Fed's interest rate outlook...
