Gold price on June 25: SJC gold bars maintain high level, 119.5 million VND/tael

The world gold price today (June 25) continued to decrease, trading around 3,331 USD/ounce in the context of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East cooling down. Domestically, the price of SJC gold bars remained stable, trading at 119.5 million VND/tael; SJC gold rings at 116 million VND/tael.

Specifically, at 1:30 p.m. on June 25, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars at 117.5-119.5 million VND/tael, unchanged from the previous session. The difference between buying and selling is 2 million VND/tael.

The price of SJC 9999 gold ring is 113.5 million VND/tael for buying and 116 million VND/tael for selling, unchanged from the previous session.

DOJI gold bar price in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is 117.5 million VND/tael for buying and 119.5 million VND/tael for selling.

This brand listed the buying and selling price of Doji Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold ring at 114.5-116.5 million VND/tael.

PNJ Gold is currently buying at 113.6 million VND/tael and selling at 116.3 million VND/tael, down 100,000 VND and 200,000 VND respectively compared to the previous session.

Currently, the price of SJC gold bars is about 11 million VND higher than the world price.

As of 1:00 p.m. on June 25 (Vietnam time), the world gold price continued to decrease by 8.19 USD to 3,331.09 USD/ounce.

Gold prices continued to fall to a three-week low today as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East suddenly cooled.

News of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and signs that Iran may not retaliate further against the US were catalysts for a sharp rise in US stock indexes and a fall in gold prices as investors shifted from gold to stocks.

According to analysts, in the short term, gold prices may continue to be under downward pressure due to optimistic sentiment in financial markets and easing geopolitical tensions. However, the long-term upward trend for gold will not change.

The precious metal may see a short-term sell-off but investors will then buy it as a safe-haven asset amid inflation and growing concerns about global instability both political and economic.

This morning, the USD-Index was at 97.96 points; the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds was at 4.294%; US stocks rose as Middle East tensions temporarily eased; world oil prices fell sharply, trading at 67.35 USD/barrel for Brent oil and 65.31 USD/barrel for WTI oil.
