The price of gold rings also increased. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set the price of plain round gold rings at 115.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.3 million VND/tael (sell), 300,000 VND/tael higher than the end of the previous day each way.
Saigon Jewelry Company Limited increased by VND200,000/tael each way, to VND114.2 million/tael (buy) - VND116.7 million/tael (sell).
Similarly, Phu Quy Group increased from 114 million VND/tael (buy) - 117 million VND/tael (sell) to 114.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.2 million VND/tael (sell).
Yesterday, domestic gold price decreased by 400,000 VND/tael, falling below the 121 million VND/tael mark due to the influence of the international market.
On the world market, early this morning, the price of gold reached 3,320 USD/ounce, up 45 USD compared to the lowest level last night, and up nearly 20 USD/ounce compared to the same time the day before. The world gold price increased because investors increased their buying.
At 9:00 a.m., the international gold price was trading at 3,322 USD/ounce, about 15.5 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
