Regarding gasoline, a group of gasoline distribution and retail businesses has just continued to send a petition to the Minister of Industry and Trade regarding the 4th draft of the Decree on gasoline trading.

In this document, the community of petroleum distributors and retailers expressed concerns about the regulation that distributors "are only allowed to buy petroleum from the main petroleum traders, and are not allowed to buy and sell petroleum to each other".

Petroleum distributors and retailers believe that the Ministry of Industry and Trade's proposal that distributors are not allowed to buy goods from each other will inadvertently put these businesses in a dependent position, working for the main traders.

Petroleum distribution and retail businesses recommend that there should be solutions to reduce the monopoly or market dominance of large and super-large enterprises, helping small and medium-sized enterprises in distribution and retail not to be acquired, in line with the spirit and objectives of the Law on Support for Small and Medium Enterprises.
