(Chinhphu.vn) - In the gasoline price adjustment period this afternoon, October 16, gasoline prices were adjusted up, oil prices decreased slightly.

Gasoline prices increased slightly and oil prices decreased by 181 VND/liter from this afternoon.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline is no higher than VND19,226/liter, an increase of VND88/liter compared to the current base price, and VND677/liter lower than RON95-III gasoline. RON95-III gasoline is no higher than VND19,903/liter, an increase of VND174/liter compared to the current base price.

Diesel 0.05S is not higher than 18,423 VND/liter, down 181 VND/liter compared to the current base price. Kerosene is not higher than 18,406 VND/liter, down 28 VND/liter compared to the current base price.

Mazut 180CST 3.5S oil is not higher than VND 14,371/kg, down VND 437/kg compared to the current base price.

During this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.

The world oil market in this operating period (from October 9 to 15) was affected by main factors such as: OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but the increase was lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russia's energy facilities...
