Sao Thai Duong received the Asia-Pacific Quality Excellence Award 2025

According to the Organizing Committee, among hundreds of nominations from across the region, only two Vietnamese enterprises were honored, including Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company and Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company. These are two typical representatives of Vietnam recognized by the Asia- Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) for their outstanding achievements in quality management, innovation and sustainable development.

Besides Sao Thai Duong, Tien Phong Plastic – a leading enterprise in the field of manufacturing plastic pipes and construction materials – also contributes to affirming the prestige and capacity of Vietnamese enterprises in the international arena, demonstrating the spread of the national productivity and quality movement.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien - CEO of Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company received the Asia - Pacific Quality Excellence Award 2025.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien - Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises (VST) said that the GPEA 2025 Award is a source of pride not only for Sao Thai Duong but also a proud mark of the Vietnamese medical and pharmaceutical industry in the international arena. This is the result of more than two decades of steadfastly building quality - innovation - global integration, demonstrating the competitiveness and stature of Vietnamese brands in the region.

“We believe that when advanced science and technology are combined with the quintessence of Vietnamese medicinal herbs, traditional values will not only be preserved but also reach far, affirming Vietnamese class on the world map of pharmaceutical cosmetics,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien emphasized.

The GPEA 2025 Award is a source of pride not only for Sao Thai Duong but also a proud mark of the Vietnamese medical and pharmaceutical industry in the international arena.

With more than 25 years of development, Sao Thai Duong has become a pioneer in the field of natural herbal cosmetics, owning a quality management system according to international standards, along with 19 patents and recognized useful solutions. Before being nominated for GPEA 2025, Sao Thai Duong was an enterprise that won the National Quality Gold Award twice in a row - a mandatory condition and also the clearest proof of the excellent operational capacity, sustainable quality and innovation of Vietnamese enterprises.

The GPEA 2025 Award not only recognizes Sao Thai Duong's steadfast efforts in quality management, but also marks an important step forward in the journey of internationalizing Vietnam's medicinal heritage. From research, production, to distribution system, Sao Thai Duong continues to pursue its mission: "Advanced science - Natural source - For human health and beauty".

With this title, Sao Thai Duong is proud to contribute to raising the position of Vietnamese enterprises, affirming the image of Vietnam - a country of quality, creativity and sustainable development on the world map.

According to Mr. Tran Minh Khanh - GPEA 2025 Award Evaluation Expert, Head of the National Quality Award Office, National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, the GPEA award is one of the most prestigious awards that businesses in the Asia - Pacific region aim for and wish to achieve. The criteria for nomination to participate in this award are extremely strict. Businesses must have won the National Quality Award in their home country (in Vietnam, the National Quality Gold Award) and must be officially nominated by the National Quality Award agency.

In particular, to be honored, businesses need to demonstrate excellent performance, advanced management systems, and the ability to continuously innovate according to international standards. This is not only a recognition of management capacity and product quality, but also a testament to the stature, reputation and competitiveness of the business in the international market.

Up to now, Vietnam has had 55 organizations and enterprises receiving the GPEA Award, demonstrating the strong development of the national productivity and quality movement, while affirming the increasingly high position of Vietnamese enterprises in the region and in the world.
