Cycling race to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Phan Thiet.

BTO - To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 2025 Phan Thiet City Open Cycling Race took place on the morning of April 19th at Vo Van Kiet Park.

Over 100 athletes, including members of the Binh Thuan Cycling Federation, cycling clubs, cycling enthusiasts in the city, cycling clubs from departments, agencies, companies, and businesses in the province, and cycling clubs from other provinces and cities, participated in the 68km race . The route started from Hung Vuong Street (near the Lotte Mart roundabout) → across Hung Vuong Bridge → Nguyen Thong Street → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Doi Hong roundabout (turn left) → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Lau Dai Ruou Vang – Sea Links City intersection (turn left) → Vo Nguyen Giap Street (round 2) → Doi Hong roundabout (turn left) → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Finish line (in front of Summer Land Mui Ne).

The type of vehicle used for competition is a road racing bike; time trial bikes are not permitted, and time trial bike handlebars/cushions are not allowed on the competition bike.

In the 16-40 age group, athlete Huynh Anh Thuan (Ham Thuan Bac Club) won first place, second place went to athlete Pham Nguyen Thanh Nhan (Khang Thinh Club), and third place went to Dang Xuan Truc (Ham Thuan Nam Club). In the 41-60 age group, athlete Trinh Van Phong (Phan Thiet Club) won first place, second place went to Tran Ngoc Thai (Khang Thinh Club), and third place went to Ngo Minh Tuan (La Gi Xanh Club).

In the team event for the 16-40 age group, Ham Thuan Nam Club took first place, Khang Thinh Club took second place, and Phong Nam Club took third place.
