First Prize of Hanoi Student Choir Festival - More pride for Newton School

Newton Secondary and High School choir members participate in the festival.

This meaningful message was sent into the proud melodies of the choir performance of Newton Secondary and High School.

With the Mashup performance "Flag - Proud Melody", Newton Secondary and High School won First Prize.

The magnificent stage, professional choreography, talented voice of the runner-up of the Hanoi Young Voice Festival Doan Ngoc Linh and the entire choir of teachers and students of Newton School created a choir performance with standard techniques, beautiful aesthetics, deep emotions, touching the hearts of the audience and convincing the judges.

The First Prize is a worthy evaluation and recognition for Newton Secondary and High School in a cultural and artistic playground with high professional requirements such as the Choir Festival "Forever Echoing Songs for the Party".

If Newton School was previously known as a talent incubator with proud records of achievements of generations of students, with the excellent shouldering of the national mission in international intellectual arenas; now, Newton School is also a name that has been, is and will continue to be named in the highest awards in cultural and artistic playgrounds. That is the clearest and most convincing proof of an educational environment that will bring comprehensive development to each student.

With the First Prize at the First Hanoi High School Choir Festival, the Mashup “Flag - Proud Melody” by Newton Secondary and High School will perform at Hoan Kiem Walking Street on the evening of January 21.

The Hanoi City High School Student Choir Festival for the 2023-2024 school year with the theme "Forever resounding songs dedicated to the Party" is a meaningful cultural and artistic activity, contributing to improving the spiritual and cultural life of teachers and students; creating an exciting and vibrant competitive atmosphere in schools.

Right from the first time it was held, the City High School Student Choir Festival attracted thousands of students from primary, secondary, high school and continuing education levels from 17 units, including 10 Departments of Education and Training, 6 clusters of high schools and 1 cluster of vocational education and continuing education centers to actively participate.

Through the rounds, the final round at the city level had the participation of 49 units. The performances were the best, seriously prepared, elaborately staged with diverse colors, high artistic quality and profound thoughts, unique creativity.

In order to spread the success of the festival, the Organizing Committee will organize 2 nights of performances of the festival's excellent performances at the Walking Street of Son Tay town and Hoan Kiem Lake on the evening of January 20-21, 2024 for teachers, students, parents and people to enjoy.
