The 2nd Bac Giang Provincial Science and Technology Journalism Award, 2025

On April 9, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Science and Technology (S&T) Journalism Award of Bac Giang province, headed by Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Mai Son, signed Decision No. 512/QD-BTC promulgating the Regulations of the 2nd Science and Technology Journalism Award of Bac Giang province in 2025 (Award). The Regulations clearly stipulate the participants, criteria for awarding the award, structure, value of the Award, etc.

Participants

Professional and non-professional authors living and working in and outside Bac Giang province, who meet the regulations of the 2nd Bac Giang Province Science and Technology Journalism Award, 2025, are eligible to participate (except for members of the Jury Council). The entries must be published and broadcast on all types of press (print, electronic, radio, television) of press agencies licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) .

Award criteria

Works participating in the Press Awards must be works that praise advanced factors, typical examples, and achievements in science and technology activities ; discover and propose new mechanisms and policies on science and technology ; introduce typical science and technology achievements in production and life development, serving economic , cultural, social, security and defense development; praise outstanding collectives and individuals who have made great contributions to science and technology activities in Bac Giang province.

The positive influence of the work on social life, creating public attention.

The work must truthfully reflect people, events, and localities, ensuring the timeliness, objectivity, and scientific nature of journalism.

Prize structure and value

The Press Awards are given to 04 types of press, including: 01 A Prize, 02 B Prizes, 04 C Prizes, 08 Encouragement Prizes. Specifically as follows:

Prize A: Printed T -shirt , electronic newspaper, radio newspaper: worth 16 million VND/prize;

Prize B: Television: 14 million VND/ prize ; Print newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio newspapers : 13 million VND/prize;

Prize C: Visual newspapers: 11 million VND/ prize; printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio newspapers : 8 million VND/prize;

Encouragement prize: Visual newspapers: 5 million VND/ prize; printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio newspapers : 3 million VND/prize.

Consolation prize: Visual newspapers , printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio newspapers : 2 million VND/prize.

Time for receiving works: from the launch date to the end of working hours on June 30, 2025 (according to the postmark or the date of receipt).
