2023 National Beach Handball Championship: Binh Dinh Women's Team Loses Opening Match

(BD) - On the afternoon of May 11, at Bien Dong Park ( Da Nang City), the opening ceremony and the first matches of the 2023 National Beach Handball Championship took place. The tournament attracted 4 men's teams and 4 women's teams, competing in a round-robin format, then competing cross-over in the semi-finals, selecting 2 winning teams for the final.

In the opening match, the Binh Dinh women's team lost to the Hanoi women's team with a score of 0-2. This is not an unexpected result, because at the National Sports Festival Beach Handball Tournament held in December 2022, the Binh Dinh women's handball team lost to the Hanoi team. The current strength of the Vo women's handball team is even thinner, as many experienced pillars have retired from competition.

According to the match schedule, on May 12, Binh Dinh women's handball team will meet Ho Chi Minh City 1 team; then they will compete with Ho Chi Minh City 2 team on May 13. The semi-finals will take place on May 15, and the final and award ceremony will be held on May 16.
