Director of the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

During his visit and work in Nghe An province, this afternoon (August 28), the Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Region, Mr. Saia Ma'u Piukala, visited the Kim Lien National Monument to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh. Accompanying her were Ms. Angela Pratt - WHO Representative in Vietnam; Ms. Pham Thi Minh Chau - Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Health.

On the provincial side, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long; leaders of the Department of Health , the Provincial Center for Disease Control; and Yen Thanh General Hospital.

The delegation held a flower and incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.

The delegation respectfully commemorated President Ho Chi Minh.

In the sacred atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their admiration and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Party and people of Vietnam. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, and the struggle for peace and progress around the world.

Delegation visits Uncle Ho's hometown

The delegation listened to an introduction about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation took souvenir photos at Uncle Ho's house.

Next, the delegation visited President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, heard about his life and career, especially his childhood years in his hometown of Kim Lien and the times he returned to visit his hometown.
