(Baoquangngai.vn) - In recent days, the number of people coming to request to change their driving licenses at the Provincial Administrative Procedure Control and Service Center has increased dramatically, causing overload and congestion for civil servants when performing their duties of issuing and changing driving licenses.

The main reason is that people receive inaccurate information on social networks with the content: If a driver's license is not renewed before December 31, 2023, it is mandatory to retake the test from the beginning, which leads to people with new, undamaged A1 motorcycle licenses still coming to apply for a new or renewed driver's license. This causes costs and time for people as well as state management agencies.

However, in current legal documents, there is no regulation requiring that the A1 class motorcycle license (indefinite term) must be renewed before December 31, 2023. Currently, the A1 class motorcycle license is still valid indefinitely. Therefore, people can proactively go through the procedures to renew the new model, but should choose the right time to avoid crowded and overloaded situations.
