Video : Storm No. 10 is gusting at level 12-13 on Con Co Island
At 4:45 p.m. on September 28, information from the Quang Tri Province Civil Defense Command said that in the Con Co special zone of this province, there are currently strong winds and big waves. The storm winds are howling and gusting at level 12-13.
Also according to the Quang Tri Provincial Civil Defense Command, at 4:00 p.m. on September 28, the center of storm No. 10 was at about 17.4 degrees North latitude; 107.7 degrees East longitude, about 120km east of North Quang Tri. Strongest wind: Level 12 (118-133km/h), gusting to level 15. In the next 3 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, at a speed of about 20-25km/h. This is a very fast moving storm (nearly twice the average speed of storms), with strong storm intensity and a wide area of influence, which can cause combined effects of many types of natural disasters such as strong winds, heavy rain, floods, flash floods, landslides and coastal flooding. In the past 24 hours, there has been heavy to very heavy rain in Quang Tri province.

On the same day, Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Con Co Special Zone (Quang Tri) said that from the morning of September 28, on Con Co Island, there began to be heavy rain, strong winds of level 7-8, gusting to level 9. The government and armed forces deployed a plan to evacuate all residents, officers and soldiers to shelters.
