The program is called “The flow of thoughts of father and son” because the author Le Thuan Nghia is Ngo Thanh Van’s adoptive father. Although they live far apart, they met and found harmony in each other through poetry. And Ngo Thanh Van was also the one who took the trouble to select and draft the poetry collection Vet thieu quang , as a spiritual gift for her father on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

Poet Ngo Thanh Van (born in 1981), is currently Vice President of the Gia Lai Province Literature and Arts Association. In recent years, she has enthusiastically participated in literary life with many genres: short stories, essays, and poems. Her diligence and hard work are marked by 9 published works, including 5 poetry collections, 2 short story collections, and 2 essay collections. The poetry collection Van Khong is her 9th book, consisting of 66 poems composed over a period of 8 years, from 2018 to 2025.
“The name of the poetry collection Van Khong also reflects the spirit of the collection. It is a gentle, relaxed, and peaceful look at life, whether it is sad or happy or going through adversity with the belief in “light at the end of the tunnel”, with the desire to send everyone a message of optimism, love of life, and rising up in life”, poet Ngo Thanh Van expressed.
Author Le Thuan Nghia (born in 1959, in Quang Binh ) is a physician, currently living and working in Hamburg (Germany), but every year he often uses his vacation days to return to Vietnam. Along with his love for traditional medicine, he has a passion for writing, traditional musical instruments and partly for painting.
At the program, author Le Thuan Nghia said that he started writing prose and poetry in the late 70s and early 80s. However, he never intended to publish a book of poems for himself. Like Van Khong , the book of poems Vet Thieu Quang also has 66 poems, equivalent to the age of the author. The poems in Vet Thieu Quang are the struggles and philosophy of Buddhism and life, written in the past 20 or 30 years.
