Introducing valuable books on building the People's Public Security force.

On the afternoon of November 11th, the National Political Publishing House, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, held a ceremony to introduce the book "Building a Truly Clean, Strong, Selfless, and Dedicated People's Public Security Force" by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

At the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, emphasized that the book is not only a valuable source of information but also a guiding principle for the entire People's Public Security force in combat and force building in the coming years. It is also a valuable document for local Party committees and authorities in leading and managing security and order protection work.

This book truly serves as a source of encouragement and inspiration, igniting patriotism and guiding the masses to actively participate in the cause of national defense in general and the protection of security and order in particular.

Sharing about the book's editing and publication process, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, said that the preparation took more than a year, with meticulous collection of materials, careful manuscript organization, editing, and publication, demonstrating a spirit of serious cooperation and responsibility. The book received input from the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security and the Minister of Public Security.

With 600 pages, the book compiles 39 important articles, speeches, letters, and directives from the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the People's Public Security Force across various periods and positions. These works vividly reflect practical realities while demonstrating consistent theoretical thinking, strategic vision, and the comrade's affection for the task of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

The book also includes 56 opinions, expressing the sentiments of officers and soldiers from various forces and localities across the country.

The book emphasizes important principles in building the People's Public Security force, including: maintaining political steadfastness, absolute loyalty to the Party, the State, and the people; closely monitoring developments in the world, the region, and domestically to advise, forecast, and promptly handle issues related to national security and social order and safety; and focusing on building a streamlined, strong, and modern People's Public Security force that is both a sharp instrument and a reliable support for the Party, the State, and the people.

The book also points out the limitations and shortcomings in the work of protecting national security, organizing the apparatus and building the People's Public Security force, while proposing practical solutions that are appropriate to the requirements of the task in the context of rapidly changing and complex international and domestic situations.

To widely disseminate the book's value, the Ministry of Public Security leadership requested that Party committees and police commanders at all levels pay attention to organizing propaganda and dissemination of its content throughout the entire force; and encourage research institutions to develop theoretical frameworks for police work based on the book, contributing to its strong dissemination within the political system and throughout society.
