Introducing valuable books on building the People's Public Security force

At the ceremony, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, emphasized that the book is not only a valuable source of information, but also a guideline for the entire People's Public Security force in combat and force building in the coming years. This is also a valuable document for local Party committees and authorities in leading and managing security and order protection work.

The book is truly a source of encouragement, inspiration, and arousing patriotism, guiding the masses to actively participate in the cause of protecting the Fatherland in general and protecting security and order in particular.

Sharing about the process of editing and publishing the book, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, said that the preparation work took place over a year, with a process of carefully collecting documents, organizing the manuscript, editing and publishing, demonstrating a spirit of serious coordination and responsibility. The book received comments from the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Minister of Public Security.

With a capacity of 600 pages, the book selects 39 important articles, speeches, letters and instructions of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the People's Public Security force through many periods and in many working positions, vividly reflecting reality, while demonstrating the comrade's consistent theoretical thinking, strategic vision and sentiments towards the task of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

The book also selected 56 opinions, expressing the feelings of officers and soldiers of all forces and localities across the country.

The book emphasizes important principles in building the People's Public Security force, including: maintaining political will, absolute loyalty to the Party, State and people; grasping developments in the world, region and domestic situation to advise, forecast and promptly handle issues of national security and social order and safety; focusing on building a streamlined, strong and modern People's Public Security force, which is both a sharp tool and a reliable support for the Party, State and people.

The book also points out the limitations and inadequacies in the work of protecting national security, organizing the apparatus and building the People's Public Security force, and at the same time proposes practical solutions suitable to the requirements of the tasks in the context of rapid and complicated developments in the international and domestic context.

To widely spread the value of the book, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels of the Public Security pay attention to organizing propaganda and disseminating the content to the entire force; encourage research facilities to develop police work theories on the basis of the book, contributing to strongly spreading it in the political system and the whole society.
