Publication

Publication "The truth about the 1945 famine (through historical documents and memories)".

The publication “The Truth about the 1945 Famine (through Historical Documents and Memories)” is over 700 pages thick, the result of nearly 30 years of collecting, researching, and recording by author Nguyen Quang An from many rare sources of documents and memories of witnesses in 19 locations in 8 northern provinces. Thereby, it contributes to reconstructing the entire picture of an unprecedented disaster in the history of the nation - the 1945 famine that took the lives of more than 2 million innocent people and left behind the utmost pain. But it is from that painful memory that arose a strong desire to live, a spirit of solidarity, an indomitable will, and a burning belief in the revolutionary path under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
