Donated over 600 textbooks/reference books, storybooks, etc., to children at Binh Luong Primary and Secondary School.
The program is implemented as part of the "Bookcase for Children in the Mountainous Areas of Thanh Hoa" project, aiming to provide fun and educational activities related to books, along with meaningful gifts, for children in mountainous districts. Binh Luong Primary and Secondary School is a school located in a disadvantaged area of Nhu Xuan district. The school has 514 students studying at two main campuses and one satellite campus. The majority of the students are ethnic minorities who rely on agriculture for their livelihood, and their living conditions are still difficult.
During the program, the teacher and students donated over 600 textbooks, reference books, storybooks, etc., to the children at Binh Luong Primary and Secondary School with the message "Collect old books - Share knowledge." This is a meaningful gift for the students; outside of class time and self-study time, they can read books, enhance their Vietnamese language skills, improve their knowledge, and develop self-learning, reading, and teamwork skills. Organized at the beginning of summer, the program provided practical books, helping students better understand the importance of sharing and spreading love.
The book donation program for students in disadvantaged and mountainous areas by Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School students has achieved a "dual" goal: educating and raising students' awareness of the importance of preserving books; and promoting the nation's tradition of mutual support and compassion, fostering in students an attitude of caring, loving, and sharing with others. At the same time, it elevates the cultural and spiritual value of books and stories, contributing to the development of reading culture in the community.
