Greenwich Journey Day Version 5 (abbreviated: GJD5) is a series of events to welcome new students of Greenwich Vietnam organized by the Student Affairs Department and the Club System with the aim of giving new students the opportunity to exchange, learn, and improve themselves through a series of useful and interesting activities.
Following the success of the previous season, Greenwich Journey Day Version 5 has returned with the theme "Arcade Adventure: Behind The Truth" and an extremely attractive storyline. New students will transform into characters lost in the mysterious world of Arcade Game - Pixel, a virtual world in the Arcade machine. Here, you will have to go through the missions given by "Big Mouse", the person behind all the surprise plans for the players. Here, 4 X teams including: UNDEREARTH, WOODLANDER, SAND SPINE, ROCK RANGER need to use strength, intelligence and solidarity to overcome the challenges, and find "Big Mouse". The battle between the 4 teams is taking place extremely fiercely and fiercely at Greenwich Vietnam, Hanoi campus to escape the Arcade Game and find the final winners.
The Greenwich Journey Day Version 5 series of events to welcome new students starts from September 26, 2023 to October 24, 2023 with activities that challenge both the intelligence and physical strength of new students, including:
The event series officially begins on September 26, 2023 with the MYSTERY MEETUP activity. This is an activity to introduce the new students of Course 12 of the four Squads and announce the important schedule of the entire event series.
The first major event of the Greenwich Journey Day Version 5 series of events to welcome new students is called CIPHERSHIFT with two main activities: BRAIN BATTLES taking place on October 4, 2023 and DEBATE FACE-OFF taking place on October 10, 2023. This is an event that requires new students to concentrate highly to decode the mysterious room and the critical thinking ability of new students in many fields to bring victory to their team.
The judges of the Debate activity are very familiar faces and highly qualified in debate competitions, including Mr. Pham Minh Son, Mr. Tran The Phuong and Dao Tien Vinh. They have all held important positions in the professional board, coach and judge of many major debate competitions.
Not stopping at the difficult intellectual challenges of the first event, the second big event called SPEED RACERS featured physical and performance competitions. All members of the four teams had to undergo rigorous training sessions to be ready to bring the most eye-catching performance.
The event had the participation of a panel of judges with extensive experience in the performance field including Mr. Dinh Ngoc Diep - Member of FED Crew and Founder of "Lake Ouest Crew - LOC" of Tay Ho High School; Mr. Nguyen Duy Hai - Leader of Freedom Family; Mr. JK Nguyen - Member of Last Fire Crew, NO.6 Dance Studio and Hanoi Dance Academy.
On October 15, 2023, Cheerleading and Teambuilding activities took place at Yen Hoa football field with the participation of more than 100 new students. The unique and creative choreography dances received a "shower of compliments" from the judges.
Besides, the super classic sport when it comes to physical challenge teambuilding games - Tug of War! With solidarity and team spirit, the new students ignited the fire of competition at Yen Hoa football field with their enthusiasm.
THE FINAL STAGE - the final stage of the Greenwich Journey Day Version 5 New Student Welcome Event Series will take place on October 24, 2023. The morning and afternoon sessions at the festival are a combination of orientation camps of clubs at Greenwich Vietnam - Hanoi campus and partner booths that promise to attract the attention of many students and guests. The highlight of the main festival will definitely be the music night taking place in the evening with the hottest artists today: DA LAB and Rhyder!
During the time of enjoying the main festival, the new students also have to complete the final challenges of the Organizing Committee to find the champion of the season. Let's wait and see which team will bring home the championship cup of Greenwich Journey Day Version 5!
