Bui Huu Nghia High School student wins Can Tho synchronized dance competition

Can Tho A group of students from Bui Huu Nghia High School won the championship of the synchronized dance competition organized by Greenwich Vietnam and Can Tho City Youth Union.

The final round of Greenwich Vietnam Flashmob Competition 2024 took place at Chau Van Liem High School, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho on January 21 with the participation of 10 teams from 10 high schools.

The groups brought many performances with diverse content and performance styles. In the end, the panel of professional judges selected the three highest positions, respectively, for New Gen (Bui Huu Nghia High School) with a prize of 10 million VND and a gold cup; Warriors (Phan Van Tri High School) received 6 million VND and a silver cup; Z-Group (Chau Van Liem High School) was awarded a bronze cup and three million VND.

In addition, the organizing committee awarded the remaining 7 teams with commemorative medals and gifts worth one million VND. Students from Nguyen Viet Dung High School also won the title of most enthusiastic cheering team with a gift of one million VND.

Greenwich Vietnam Flashmob Competition 2024 is part of the "Three Good Students" Festival, including activities to honor 37 individuals who have achieved the title of "Three Good Students" and manyeducational events and healthy entertainment for high school students. The program attracted nearly 300 high school students in the city to participate in person and nearly 4,000 viewers to watch online via livestream on the Greenwich Vietnam fanpage.

This is the first time Greenwich Vietnam has coordinated with Can Tho City Youth Union to organize a competition for students in the city. The jury of the competition includes choreographer Quang Dang - Runner-up of So you think you can dance 2016, dance instructor Nguyet Quynh - lecturer of Can Tho College of Culture and Arts, Dr. Raj Dass - representative of Greenwich University UK in Southeast Asia and Mr. Truong Thanh Tung - Head of Propaganda Department of Can Tho City Youth Union.

Representative of the organizing committee, Ms. Le Diep Thuy Trang - Head of Admissions of Greenwich Vietnam Can Tho campus said that the unit always wants to bring to students in the area educational programs, dynamic and healthy recreational activities. Through that, students can practice their confidence, personal qualities and demonstrate their talents.

"This is also the school's training motto, encouraging learning combined with training through extracurricular activities, creating opportunities for all students to shine according to their own strengths," she added.
