Brotherhood amidst the scorching sun of the training ground.

These days, the 290th Radar Regiment is focusing on training and improving its professional skills in preparation for the Radar Regiment Command Post Combat Team Exercise organized by the Air Defense - Air Force Command. On the training grounds and at the radar station positions, officers and soldiers are diligently training under harsh weather conditions. Sweat continuously rolls down their faces, soaking their uniforms, but it does not diminish the sense of responsibility of these soldiers guarding the skies.

When the break whistle blew, members of the Regiment's Women's Association appeared on the training ground with iced water, pots of green tea, and roasted black bean drinks prepared since early morning. Amidst the scorching sun, these simple drinks, handed directly to the soldiers, brought a feeling of comfort and warmth, for they contained the care and sharing of comrades and fellow soldiers.

To ensure a timely supply of refreshing drinks for the soldiers, the women's association members proactively prepared well in advance. From selecting ingredients and processing to transporting them to the training ground, everything was done with dedication and responsibility.

Major Le Thi Kieu Oanh, Vice President of the Women's Association of the Regiment, shared: "The activities focused on the training ground have been maintained by the women for many years during each peak training season. We hope to contribute a small part of our efforts to encourage officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties, maintain their health, and successfully complete their assigned tasks."

A foundation built from simple things.

Receiving a glass of cool water during a break, Corporal Van Dinh Cong Hau, a radar operator, emotionally shared: “The weather these days is very harsh, and the training intensity is high, so the team is quite exhausted. The care and attention from the ladies makes us feel very warm-hearted. It is a source of encouragement for each of us to be more determined in training and performing our duties.”

The value of this activity lies not only in helping soldiers cool down during the hot summer. More importantly, these small acts have spread a spirit of sharing, responsibility, and camaraderie within the unit. Each cup of water given is a silent encouragement, helping officers and soldiers feel more clearly the care of the community, their comrades, and the military's support system.

According to Colonel Nguyen Hai Ha, Political Commissar of the 290th Radar Regiment, this is a practical and meaningful activity that contributes to caring for the material and spiritual lives of soldiers in harsh weather conditions. At the same time, the activity creates a vibrant atmosphere of competition, encouraging officers and soldiers to enthusiastically train and improve the quality of their mission performance.

Spread love to every battlefield.

From the Regimental headquarters, activities focused on the training grounds were extended to the subordinate radar stations. Despite being dispersed and facing many difficulties in living conditions, the women's groups at the grassroots level proactively coordinated with the Party committees, unit commanders, and affiliated organizations to maintain activities that cared for and encouraged the soldiers.

The refreshing drinks and heartfelt words of encouragement, though simple, have become a bond connecting mass organizations with officers and soldiers on the front lines. This contributes to building a united, humane, and sharing military culture.

Amidst the scorching summer heat of Central Vietnam, the simple acts of the Women's Association of the 290th Radar Regiment have poured their love into the training ground, providing motivation for officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties, train diligently, and strive for high results in competitions and assigned tasks. This is also how military women contribute to fostering unity, improving training quality, maintaining combat readiness, closely managing the nation's airspace, and successfully completing all assigned missions.
