Responding to the call of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in recent days, localities, agencies, units and enterprises have actively supported people severely affected by storms No. 10 and 11. Along with cash support, many trucks carrying goods and necessities have urgently gone to the damaged areas, demonstrating the affection and spirit of "Mutual love" of the people in the province towards people affected by natural disasters.

Returning from a volunteer trip called "Nhu Quynh towards the people in the flood-affected areas", Ms. Dao Thi May, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhu Quynh commune and volunteers were still moved when recalling the images of ruined houses and the worried eyes of the people of Phu Binh commune, Thai Nguyen province. After storm No. 11, 55/67 villages and hamlets in Phu Binh commune were flooded, more than 100 houses were severely damaged, of which 5 were completely collapsed, hundreds of hectares of crops and livestock were swept away. Sharing the damage after the storm, on October 12, the working group of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhu Quynh commune and the people of Minh Khai village presented 200 gifts worth 550,000 VND/gift including food, necessities, and medicine; At the same time, 60 million VND was provided to 5 households whose houses collapsed in Dong Ang village, Phu Binh commune, with a total value of more than 180 million VND. Ms. Dao Thi May, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhu Quynh commune, shared: Directly witnessing the scene of many households losing their homes and properties after the storm and flood, we were truly heartbroken. When personally handing out each gift, seeing the smiles mixed with tears of gratitude from the people, everyone in the group felt their hearts warm.
That was the moment that made us realize even more the sacred meaning of the two words "compatriots". We are continuing to launch a fundraising movement to support compatriots in the provinces affected by storms No. 10 and 11. From October 7 to October 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune mobilized more than 174 million VND to support local people affected by storms No. 10 and 11, with Nghia Trai village alone donating the most, more than 36 million VND.
The most touching example is that of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ky in Nghia Trai village, although she is 98 years old, she still asked her daughter-in-law to take her to the village cultural house to personally give 300,000 VND to support people in flood-affected areas. The image of Mrs. Ky tremblingly placing the envelope of money into the donation box, then smiling and saying "a piece of food when hungry is worth a package when full", moved everyone who witnessed it and made them appreciate the tradition of charity even more.

At the same time, in Dong Hung commune, the movement to support people in disaster areas has spread widely. In just 4 days, from October 9 to October 12, cadres, party members, organizations, businesses and people have donated nearly 4 tons of rice and many essential items and necessities, with a total value of nearly 150 million VND to support people in Yen Binh commune, Lang Son province. Mr. Nguyen Duc Khoa, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hung commune, said: Each gift is a heart of sharing, a word of encouragement for people to have more determination to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hung commune will continue to maintain and expand volunteer activities, promote the spirit of "Mutual love", calling on organizations, individuals, businesses and people to join hands to support people in disaster areas, contributing to spreading the message of solidarity - humanity - affection in the community.

Immediately after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched a call for support for people in storm and flood-affected areas, all classes of people in the province actively responded. Officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, religious organizations, agencies, units, enterprises... unanimously contributed both materially and spiritually, contributing to sharing difficulties, helping people in damaged areas to soon stabilize their lives. From October 6 to October 13, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received more than 13.9 billion VND in support from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province. Many outstanding collectives and individuals actively participated, such as: the Provincial Procuracy donated more than 165 million VND; the Provincial Women's Union mobilized and connected social resources for more than 20 million VND; Enterprises such as Hang Thu Trading and Service Company Limited donated 200 million VND, AVC Structure Company donated more than 40 million VND, Viet Nhat Electronics Company donated more than 20 million VND... Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has allocated the province's Relief Fund to promptly support localities that suffered heavy damage. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province and the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee continue to mobilize and receive support until November 3, 2025.

With the tradition of humanity, solidarity and sharing spirit of the people in the province, the hearts of love will continue to spread, becoming a source of encouragement to help people in storm and flood areas overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
