Launching fundraising campaign to support northern provinces affected by storms and floods

Faced with the heavy damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11 in the northern provinces, on the morning of October 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pong Drang commune organized a fundraising ceremony to support people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pong Drang commune called on all cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life in the area to promote the spirit of "mutual love and support", join hands to contribute material and spiritual support to share the difficulties with the people in the North who are suffering from damage caused by storms and floods.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and people attending the ceremony directly supported the fund with a spirit of volunteerism, responsibility and deep affection with a total donation of 43,480,000 VND.

The program of donating to support the people of the Northern provinces is being implemented and received by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune from now until the end of October 2025. After that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune will synthesize and transfer to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province to promptly send to the people in the affected areas.

This is a noble gesture demonstrating the tradition of solidarity and humanity of our nation, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and helping each other in times of trouble and difficulty, and turning towards the beloved North.
