The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 are organized in diverse, solemn, economical, effective, practical, focused and key forms.
In particular, the city will coordinate with the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to organize a national scientific conference to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2); coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to design a logo and identity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2); and coordinate to organize an exhibition of socio -economic achievements.
Hanoi City will organize 5 fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
At the same time, the city coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and Vietnam Television to organize a live television broadcast to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2); and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a contest to create propaganda posters about the event.
In addition, the city organizes revolutionary history education activities at schools and relics in the city, promotes the country and people of Vietnam, the heroic and civilized capital to students; visits and presents gifts to people with meritorious services.
The city also organized fireworks displays at 5 locations (Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium, West Lake) in traditional and artistic forms.
