Hanoi FC surprises V.League with series of awards

Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) has just announced the V.League awards for April. Accordingly, Hanoi FC is the best team. They won 3, drew 1 and lost no matches, earning 10 points. Thereby, the capital team returned to the championship race and is only 2 points behind the top team Nam Dinh .

Coach Makoto Teguramori was born in 1967 and was a famous Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder and spent most of his career with Kashima Antlers and NEC Yamagata. When he started his coaching career, Makoto worked for Vegalta Sendai for 5 years. From 2014-2016, he led the Japanese U23 team and won the 2016 AFC U23 Championship.

This achievement is the ticket for the 58-year-old strategist to join the national team as an assistant to coach Akira Nishino. After leaving the Japanese team, coach Makoto also worked for V-Varen Nagasaki before returning to Vegalta Sendai.
