Hanoi responds to the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award

The Hanoi Party Committee has just issued Plan No. 344-KH/TU to respond to the 10th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) - 2025.

Accordingly, the City Party Committee requires each Hanoi press agency and each press reporter to deeply understand the Party's policy on Party building work; proactively follow the grassroots reality, actively create press works that promptly and vividly reflect the results of Party building and rectification work of localities and units, thereby selecting many high-quality works to participate in the National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award).

Through that, it contributes to raising the awareness of cadres, party members and people about the Party, about the work of building the Party and the political system; improving the quality of propaganda in Hanoi press in the direction of combining "building" and "fighting", in which "building" is the fundamental, strategic, long-term task, "fighting" is the important, urgent and regular task... In addition, well implementing the motto of "using positivity to push back negativity", "using beauty to eliminate ugliness"; thereby, creating a ripple effect in press agencies and the whole society.

During the organization and implementation of the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2025, the authorities regularly and promptly provide information on the Party building work of the City Party Committee for the press to propagate in many forms: Introducing typical collectives and individuals; seminars, thematic workshops; summary conferences...

Accordingly, the city will organize training and professional development courses on writing on Party building work; skills in creating high-quality press works to participate in Central and City press awards; implementation time before August 30, 2025.

The authorities also select press works, prepare documents to participate in the Award in accordance with the regulations of the Award and send them to the Hanoi Journalists Association before October 30, 2025, for the City Preliminary Selection Council to organize the selection.

In addition, the city established a Council to organize a preliminary selection of outstanding press works to submit to the Award; the implementation time is to be completed before November 8, 2025.
