According to the plan approved by the Hanoi People's Committee, the first-level admission period for the 2025-2026 school year will take place from July 1 to July 18, 2025. Hanoi City will maintain two stable forms: Online admission and direct admission.

In particular, online enrollment for first graders is conducted from July 1 to July 3; enrollment for 5-year-olds in kindergarten is from July 4 to July 6; enrollment for sixth graders is from July 7 to July 9.

To register for online admission, parents can access the Hanoi City Primary School Admissions Portal at: https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn/ and follow the instructions.

In case parents have not yet registered for admission online, they can register directly at the school from July 12 to July 18, 2025.

Hanoi continues to apply the admission method according to the admission route prescribed by the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. The general principle is to ensure that all students of compulsory school age can go to school, creating the most favorable conditions for people living in each locality.

In response to concerns about whether there will be any changes in the enrollment of preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 students in schools from July 1, when the two-level local government apparatus officially operates, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training affirmed: Although the local government apparatus officially switches to the new model, the capital's education sector is still committed to maintaining the entire enrollment plan.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training maintains stability in terms of time, method, and all regulations related to enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, avoiding disruptions and difficulties for parents and students.
