Honored to be chosen to organize the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), the entire political system and the people of the Capital have participated not only with responsibility, but also with great pride. Thanks to that, up to now, the city's preparations have been basically completed, ready for the Great Day of the country.
Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that since receiving the task of implementing A80, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee has determined that all levels and sectors must proactively accept and take care of the work. This guiding viewpoint has been completely correct so far, and the city's preparation progress has generally been guaranteed. The tasks of ensuring security and order, logistics, healthcare , power grid, urban order, environmental sanitation, etc. have been meticulously planned and assigned specific tasks for implementation.
Hanoi City Police proactively developed a comprehensive plan, organized field surveys, and comprehensively assessed the situation. The unit mobilized maximum forces and means, closely coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, and city departments, agencies, and branches to ensure absolute safety for the commemorative activities.
During the past training days, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department mobilized maximum forces to control and regulate traffic to ensure stable traffic and avoid congestion in key areas.
At intersections and main roads leading to Ba Dinh Square, the Traffic Police and Ward Police, regardless of rain or heat, were present to block and direct traffic from a distance. The authorities immediately handled any issues arising regarding urban order or environmental sanitation.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police, emphasized that A80 is an important political mission, associated with the honor and pride of every officer and soldier of the Capital Police. The entire force has a firm grasp of the plan, absolutely will not allow any negligence; any violations and lack of responsibility will be strictly handled.
"This is an opportunity for the Capital Police force to continue to train, mature, and build the image of a Capital Police soldier who is "courageous, humane, and serves the people," said Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung.
To ensure that people and tourists can conveniently watch the rehearsal, preliminary rehearsal, and final rehearsal, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center has detailed and close plans to serve people's travel.
From August 30 to September 2, 128 subsidized bus routes and two urban railway lines in Hanoi, along with nearly 200 parking lots, will serve people for free.
Hanoi Metro Company Limited proactively increased the frequency of trains on the two elevated railway lines, extended operating hours, and organized passenger traffic at key stations. Hanoi Metro's leadership was directly present at the scene to direct and coordinate with all officers and employees, ensuring safe, smooth, and civilized service.

According to Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Vo Nguyen Phong: The city has prepared enough necessities for supply and distribution. The unit mobilized more than 830 thousand cakes, nearly one million bottles of water, more than 220 thousand milk cartons and more than 200 thousand bottles of various types of water, exceeding the proposed plan. Tens of thousands of items from hats, paper fans, raincoats to hand-held flags are also ready. The plan for distributing necessities is specifically assigned, the time for handing over necessities is completed before the rehearsal on August 30, the parade and march on September 2.
The units also developed transportation plans in rainy conditions. With the 10km parade passing through, the Hanoi Youth Union took charge of receiving and distributing food to delegates and people at 67 locations.
Coming from the Banking Academy, student Dang Ngoc Anh is one of 8,800 volunteers from 43 universities, colleges and communes and wards in Hanoi, excitedly sharing: "We consider this an opportunity to contribute our youth to the important event of the country. Therefore, everyone is prepared with a ready mindset and the best health to ensure the completion of all assigned tasks."

Not only in the city and departments, but also in many localities, especially in areas related to celebrations, parades, and marches, service work is also proactively deployed.
Phu Thuong Ward will open cultural houses in residential groups; open the Ward Culture, Sports and Information Center, ready to welcome people and tourists from other localities to the capital to attend A80. The center will also support necessities such as food and drink, accommodation, toilets, and raincoats to serve local people.
Ngoc Ha, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam, Giang Vo, Ba Dinh wards, where the parade route passes through, have also prepared a large number of necessities including raincoats, chairs, drinking water, bread, etc. to give to the people. Thousands of cadres, civil servants, and young volunteers have participated in serving and supporting the people and the functional forces in performing their duties.
Deputy General Director of Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited Nguyen Thanh Son said that 100% of staff and workers were mobilized to work across shifts, closely coordinating with the People's Committees of wards and the police force to arrange early garbage collection hours, avoiding overlapping with road closure times.
