A representative of Hanoi Metro said that for these two urban railway lines, the company has adjusted the price of single-trip tickets, daily tickets and monthly tickets; added weekly and long-term tickets; and stopped implementing group tickets and still applied the current free ticket policy.
Specifically, the fare for a one-way ticket between stations when paying without cash on the Cat Linh-Ha Dong urban railway line from the second station (La Thanh Station) is 8,595 VND and if arriving at the end of the line at Yen Nghia Station is 18,625 VND. If passengers pay in cash, the fare from the second station is 9,000 VND and the end of the line is up to 19,000 VND.
For the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Line, the fare from the second station (Minh Khai Station) is 8,935 VND, if going to the last station, Cau Giay Station, the fare will be 14,290 VND. In case of paying in cash, the fare for the second station is 9,000 VND and the last station is 15,000 VND.
The daily ticket price for these two railway routes is 40,000 VND/ticket (30% increase compared to the old price of 30,000 VND) and the weekly ticket is 160,000 VND/ticket. The monthly ticket for priority passengers is 140,000 VND/ticket and for non-priority passengers is 280,000 VND/ticket (40% increase compared to the old price of 200,000 VND).
According to Hanoi Metro, this fare adjustment is implemented according to the decision of the Hanoi People's Committee on promulgating a multi-modal interconnection ticket plan for the public passenger transport system in Hanoi.
Detailed information on fares will be publicly posted at all stations and on Hanoi Metro's official media channels.
