Hanoi: Organizing two special art programs on the occasion of National Day September 2

Hanoi will organize two special art programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2. Of which, the program "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945" will take place on the evening of August 15 at August Revolution Square and "Hanoi - Forever shining Vietnamese aspiration" will take place on the evening of August 31 at the National Exhibition Center.

On July 22, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4197/UBND-KGVX on coordinating the organization of the special art program "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945.

This is a program organized by the City People's Committee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The program takes place at 8:00 p.m. on August 15 at August Revolution Square (Cua Nam Ward).

"Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945" is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports as the standing agency, advising on overall organization work, responsible for implementation to ensure quality, progress, and compliance with regulations and instructions of the city.

Also on July 22, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports issued Plan No. 421/KH-SVHTT on organizing a special art program "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The program is organized to propagate and educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism, arouse the desire to develop and build the country into a "New Era - the era of national growth"; contribute to creating a unique artistic highlight within the framework of the National Socio-Economic Achievement Exhibition at the National Exhibition Center; affirm the role, responsibility and contribution of the capital Hanoi - the political and cultural center of the whole country - in the 80-year journey of building, protecting and developing the country.

This is also an opportunity to introduce and honor the unique cultural and historical values ​​of Hanoi Capital - the City of a Thousand Years of Culture; promote Hanoi's tourism potential to domestic and international visitors; create a highlight in the chain of cultural - artistic - tourism activities of the city.

The art program “Hanoi - Forever Vietnam's Aspiration” is organized by the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The program is scheduled to take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 31 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune), broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television and digital platforms.

“Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam” consists of 3 chapters: “Hanoi day, month, year”, “Hanoi in whose eyes”, “Vietnam in the new day”; presented in the form of a comprehensive art performance including music, contemporary dance, animation, documentary projection, 3D mapping, modern sound and light. The program has the participation of famous artists, professional art units in the capital and students of art schools.
