Hanoi light and music show at West Lake to welcome New Year 2025

(CLO) Hanoi's 2025 New Year's Eve program will feature a light show from 2,025 drones combined with international standard music at West Lake.

The Hanoi People's Committee announced that it will organize a Light Concert - Welcome New Year 2025 at the intersection of Nguyen Hoang Ton - Lac Long Quan (Tay Ho, Hanoi) at 8:00 p.m. on January 18.

The program is organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with Tay Ho District People's Committee.

The program will feature a light show from 2,025 drones combined with music from an international-standard symphony orchestra.

This is the first time in Vietnam that light drone technology has been used on a large scale with a performance by a new generation dragon drone, promising to create an exciting experience in the sky over West Lake.

According to the Organizing Committee, the number of 2,025 drones and dragon drones not only marks the year of the event, but also symbolizes the novelty, modernity and scale of the program.

Each drone is carefully programmed to draw unique images that tell stories about the thousand-year history and cultural heritage of the capital Hanoi, to create an emotional creative space.

"The dragon drone is a purely hand-made custom product, the fuselage structure with all supporting materials are processed with ultra-light carbon fiber, the exterior with special polypropylene sheet of ultra-light model aircraft, the coating can meet the needs of customers, the colors are diverse and can be super beautiful color matching", the Organizing Committee's announcement stated.

In addition, the drone performance is also combined with modern orchestra and laser lights, creating a perfect blend of sound and vision.

The concert program has the participation of many famous artists such as People's Artist Thanh Hoa, singer My Tam, Ha Le, BigDaddy, Trong Hieu, Kieu Anh, Do Hoang Hiep...

Previously, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, Hanoi also displayed 2,024 drones combined with fireworks on New Year's Eve, attracting tens of thousands of people to watch and enjoy.
