Huawei Vietnam organized the NextGen Connectivity Summit 2025 from April 15 to April 17 in Hanoi with the participation of major Vietnamese carriers such as Viettel, VNPT, MobiFone ... At the event, Huawei introduced many new enterprise solutions towards the world of intelligent connectivity.
According to Mr. Macky Zhang - General Director of Huawei Vietnam, AI is promoting the rapid development of intelligence across industries. AI requires networks with diverse capabilities such as high upload speed, low latency, large bandwidth and optimized network architecture, which opens up great opportunities for network operators. With the spirit of "In Vietnam, for Vietnam", Huawei always strives to cooperate closely with Vietnamese partners to upgrade network infrastructure and digital transformation.
In the era of digital transformation and the rapid development of artificial intelligence, network infrastructure is facing completely new demands: higher speed, lower latency, smarter operation and above all, superior user experience. Responding to that trend, Huawei Vietnam introduces the high-quality 10 Gbps Campus Network, providing an intelligent connection platform ready to serve organizations and businesses for at least the next 5 years.
Mr. Khoo Nee Teck - CTO of Network Solutions of Huawei EBG Asia Pacific - emphasized: “The high-quality 10 Gbps Campus Network will completely redefine the way people, devices and data interact in the digital environment. The focus of the system is on superior upgraded experiences, prioritizing user experience in all application scenarios from open offices, smart classrooms, to medical centers…”.
At the conference, Huawei presented the industry's first Wi-Fi 7 technology, delivering an AI-powered ultra-fast wireless experience with the first 5-radio architecture and the ability to smoothly transmit up to 30 concurrent 4K video channels, without any bandwidth congestion or image quality degradation. At the same time, Huawei further integrated AI into wireless access management through Coordinated Spatial Reuse and Scheduling (CSSR) technology - a breakthrough that reduces interference by up to 40% in environments with multiple overlapping signals, while improving bandwidth efficiency by up to 30%.
With the help of AI, Huawei is redefining the wireless network experience. It is not only fast, but also smarter and more stable than ever, going beyond the limits of connectivity to become a productivity tool in any learning, working or creative environment. At the heart of this experience is the use of AI to identify important running applications based on a database of 1,500 application types. Based on that, the system proactively schedules data flows, prioritizing resource allocation for important tasks such as video conferencing or remote control via cloud computing, ensuring a smooth user experience.
In particular, two exclusive technologies VIP Lane and VIP FastPass are designed by Huawei specifically for senior leaders or industry experts, etc. For VIP Lane, the system will set up a dedicated line for priority applications or users. With VIP FastPass, the network experience is not only faster but also protected from the influence of other devices on the same network.
Huawei also said that it has put AI with self-learning and network troubleshooting capabilities at the heart of its operation and maintenance (O&M) system. The deep learning model can automatically recognize, analyze, and remember the types of faults that have occurred. Currently, 80% of wireless faults can be resolved automatically in just a few minutes, improving the overall O&M efficiency by 10 times - an impressive figure that was previously difficult to achieve by relying on humans alone.
Huawei's intelligent O&M system also allows a single engineer to manage an entire network of more than 10,000 users. This was once impossible in educational institutions, large enterprises, government agencies, etc. At the same time, Huawei integrates intelligent energy monitoring and optimization capabilities to operate a green and sustainable network - with the system using data from channel state information (CSI) sensors to reduce up to 30% of the energy of the entire network and 10% of the energy of the entire campus. With all these improvements, Huawei will shift O&M from manual to automatic, from passive to active, from consuming to saving...
Mr. Yang Hao - Solution and Marketing Expert of Huawei Enterprise Solutions Business Group said that in the context of wireless networks playing an important role for enterprises on the journey of comprehensive digitalization, Huawei has introduced the next-generation FTTO 2.0 solution specially designed for Wi-Fi 7 application scenarios. This solution combines innovative XGS-PON Pro technology with high-speed Wi-Fi 7 standard, bringing 04 new upgrades to the super-bandwidth, high-quality, simplified structure and energy-saving network system, ready to accompany enterprises in the next 10 years.
Bandwidth Upgrade: XGS-PON Pro is an upgraded version of the traditional XGS-PON technology. Through this new generation of passive optical access network protocol, Huawei has pushed the bandwidth limit to 25 Gbps to each room, 10 Gbps to each Wi-Fi access point, and 2.5 Gbps to each terminal. Compared to the previous generation, the access speed is improved by 150%, making it easier for users to handle heavy multitasking such as 4K conferencing, AI collaboration, etc. to exploit the full potential of Wi-Fi 7.
Mr. Cheng Yu Wee - Senior Solution Consultant of Huawei Data Storage said at the conference: "To be AI-ready, enterprises must first be data-ready". He emphasized that data is the decisive factor for the operational efficiency, competitiveness and innovation of enterprises. With a comprehensive AI-Ready storage ecosystem, Huawei Data Storage will help enterprises unlock the potential of digitalization, turning fragmented data into valuable assets with great capabilities.
