Huawei Vietnam organized the NextGen Connectivity Summit 2025 from April 15th to 17th in Hanoi, with the participation of major Vietnamese telecommunications companies such as Viettel, VNPT, and MobiFone . At the event, Huawei introduced many new enterprise solutions geared towards a smart connected world.

According to Mr. Macky Zhang, General Director of Huawei Vietnam, AI is driving the rapid development of intelligence across industries. AI requires networks with diverse capabilities such as high upload speeds, low latency, large bandwidth, and optimized network architecture, which opens up great opportunities for network operators. With the spirit of "In Vietnam, for Vietnam," Huawei is always striving to cooperate closely with Vietnamese partners to upgrade network infrastructure and promote digital transformation.

Mr. Macky Zhang, General Director of Huawei Vietnam, spoke at the event.

In the era of rapid digital transformation and artificial intelligence, network infrastructure is facing entirely new demands: higher speeds, lower latency, smarter operation, and above all, a superior user experience. Responding to this trend, Huawei Vietnam introduces the high-quality 10 Gbps Campus Network, providing an intelligent connectivity platform ready to serve organizations and businesses for at least the next five years.

Khoo Nee Teck, Director of Network Solutions Technology at Huawei EBG Asia Pacific , emphasized: “The high-quality 10 Gbps Campus Network will fundamentally redefine how people, devices, and data interact in the digital environment. The system's focus is on superior, upgraded experiences, prioritizing user experience in every application scenario, from open offices and smart classrooms to healthcare centers…”

At the conference, Huawei presented the industry's first Wi-Fi 7 technology, delivering an ultra-fast, AI-powered wireless experience with the first 5-radio architecture and the ability to smoothly transmit up to 30 4K video channels simultaneously without bandwidth congestion or image quality degradation. Simultaneously, Huawei integrated AI into wireless access management through Space Dispatching and Reuse Scheduling (CSSR) technology – a breakthrough that reduces interference by up to 40% in environments with overlapping signals, while also increasing bandwidth efficiency by up to 30%.

With the support of AI, Huawei is redefining the wireless network experience. Not only faster, but also smarter and more stable than ever before, it transcends the limitations of connectivity to become a productivity tool in any learning, working, or creative environment. At the heart of this experience is using AI to identify critical applications running based on a database of 1,500 application types. Based on this, the system proactively schedules data flows, prioritizing resource allocation for critical tasks such as video conferencing or remote control via cloud computing, ensuring a smooth user experience.

In particular, Huawei's two proprietary technologies, VIP Lane and VIP FastPass, are designed specifically for senior executives and industry professionals. With VIP Lane, the system establishes dedicated lanes for priority applications or users. With VIP FastPass, the network experience is not only faster but also protected from interference from other devices on the same network.

Huawei also stated that it has integrated AI with self-learning and network troubleshooting capabilities into the heart of its operation and maintenance (O&M) system. The deep learning model can automatically recognize, analyze, and remember the types of errors that have occurred. Currently, 80% of wireless incidents can be resolved automatically within minutes, improving overall O&M efficiency by tenfold – an impressive figure previously difficult to achieve relying solely on human intervention.

Huawei's intelligent O&M system allows a single engineer to manage an entire network with over 10,000 users. This was previously impossible in educational institutions, large enterprises, government agencies, etc. Simultaneously, Huawei integrates intelligent energy monitoring and optimization capabilities to operate a green and sustainable network – using data from Channel State Information (CSI) sensors to reduce overall network energy consumption by up to 30% and campus energy consumption by 10%. With all these improvements, Huawei will shift O&M from manual to automated, from passive to proactive, and from wasteful to economical.

Mr. Yang Hao, a Solutions and Marketing expert in Huawei's enterprise solutions business, stated that in the context of wireless networks playing a crucial role for businesses on their journey towards comprehensive digitalization, Huawei has introduced the next-generation FTTO 2.0 solution with a special design serving Wi-Fi 7 application scenarios. This solution combines innovative XGS-PON Pro technology with the high-speed Wi-Fi 7 standard, offering four new upgrades for ultra-high bandwidth, high quality, simplified architecture, and energy efficiency, ready to support businesses for the next 10 years.

Bandwidth Upgrade: XGS-PON Pro is an upgraded version of traditional XGS-PON technology. Through this next-generation passive optical access network protocol, Huawei has pushed bandwidth limits to 25 Gbps to each room, 10 Gbps to each Wi-Fi access point, and 2.5 Gbps to each end device. Compared to the previous generation, access speeds are improved by up to 150%, allowing users to easily handle demanding multitasking such as 4K conferencing and AI collaboration, thus exploiting the full potential of Wi-Fi 7.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Cheng Yu Wee, Senior Solution Consultant at Huawei Data Storage, stated: “To be ready for AI, businesses must first be ready for data.” He emphasized that data is the key factor determining operational efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation. With its comprehensive AI-Ready storage ecosystem, Huawei Data Storage will help businesses unlock their digital potential, transforming fragmented data into valuable assets with significant capabilities.
