Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Le Khai Dang , General Director of EVNGENCO1 affirmed : During the past development process, EVNGENCO1 has continuously strived to fulfill its mission of ensuring safe, stable and efficient electricity supply for the country. Under the direction of the Group and the consensus of its member units, the Corporation has made many positive changes in its operations management, construction investment, corporate governance and especially in the fields of technological innovation, digital transformation application and staff capacity improvement.
In the context of the world and the region changing strongly with breakthroughs in technology, especially artificial intelligence, big data, and digital governance , the General Director of EVNGENCO1 emphasized that innovation and human development today is not only a "strategic choice", but also a "vital condition" for EVNGENCO1 to exist and develop in the new era.
Practices at many member units have shown that when the culture of innovation is led by leaders, when each individual feels they can contribute ideas, and when there are mechanisms to encourage, protect, and spread initiatives, productivity, efficiency, and working spirit all change significantly. Therefore, in 2025, the Corporation's Board of Directors determined that the strategic priority is to promote the building of a culture of innovation, associated with training and development of leadership, management, and key personnel capacity .
Especially in the context of digital transformation and AI application , EVNGENCO1 needs to build training programs on innovative thinking, technology management, digital leadership, and very specific skills such as data management . make decisions based on analytics, or apply simple AI tools in everyday work.
Sticking to the set theme, the conference focused on assessing the implementation of the cultural journey, existing problems, lessons learned, innovation orientation, implementation roadmap to 2030 of EVNGENCO1; human resource development work, existing problems, lessons learned, innovation orientation, implementation roadmap to 2030 of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company; practical lessons in training, human resource development, and personnel work of Nghi Son Thermal Power Company; introducing some development orientations on science and technology and innovation, launching the core group implementing science and technology and innovation.
Delegates also spent most of their time discussing many important issues, focusing on the following three key issues : Clarifying the role of culture, human resource development, personnel work, and especially innovation and digital transformation in EVNGENCO1's development strategy in the next 5 years ; Analyzing practical models in units, identifying factors that promote or inhibit innovation culture and human resource quality ; Determining specific directions and solutions in training, team development, building mechanisms to encourage innovation and implementing the EVNGENCO1 cultural development program in the coming period.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Son Hai, Deputy General Director of EVN highly appreciated the results of EVNGENCO1 in human resource development and corporate culture . The discussions and sharing of ideas have turned the conference into not only a dialogue forum, but truly a journey of sharing, spreading and affirming the determination to innovate, the aspiration to rise up and join hands to create a sustainable development future for EVNGENCO1 .
However, reality shows that the unit's digital transformation work still has many shortcomings and challenges . Therefore, in the coming time, the Corporation must quickly find comprehensive breakthrough solutions on the basis of closely following the directions of the Central Government and the Group on implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW .
The Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group suggested that the solution groups must focus on core issues, have high feasibility, follow the principle of "clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear results" and ensure long-term strategy .
On the part of the Group, we pledge to accompany and support the cultural journey of EVNGENCO1. continue to be professional and effective . At the same time, he expressed his belief that with efforts and solidarity , EVNGENCO1 will continue to make breakthroughs in production and business, digital transformation... becoming a bright spot in the whole Group, contributing to the Group in completing all tasks assigned by the Party and the Government.
Through the reports and presentations of the Conference, along with 3 discussion sessions and instructions from the leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group , EVNGENCO1 has summarized the following three major action directions: Strong culture is the foundation to promote collective strength; Science, technology and innovation help create breakthroughs to move forward ; People and key staff help turn aspirations into reality .
Accordingly, EVNGENCO1 will take 6 core values: Humanity - Heart - Unity - Progress - Wisdom - Sustainability as a guiding principle. At the same time, accelerate the application of digital solutions in management, production and services; take data as an asset, take artificial intelligence as an optimal tool; seriously and effectively implement the Project on Building and Training a Team of Key Officials for the 2021 - 2030 period; build the leadership style "EVNGENCO1 Leadership" - both good at management and knowing how to inspire, listen, lead with faith and aspiration.
