Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau emphasized that in recent times, the Government, the National Digital Transformation Steering Committee and localities have been very determined to promote digital transformation in the political system, people and businesses, contributing to socio-economic development.

Thanks to that, despite difficult conditions, in 2022, Ha Tinh made many efforts to improve the DTI index (provincial digital transformation index). Accordingly, Ha Tinh ranked 37th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide (up 22 places compared to 2021); ranked 28th nationwide in terms of administrative reform index (PAR Index); ranked 7th nationwide in terms of satisfaction index of people and organizations with administrative services (SIPAS). In particular, Ha Tinh ranked 2nd nationwide in terms of citizen identification card issuance rate and electronic identification activation rate.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau also said that despite achieving some initial results, Ha Tinh is still facing many difficulties and obstacles. In particular, although the province has issued mechanisms, policies and arranged resources to serve the digital transformation process, the effectiveness has not been as expected. The database system of the sectors has been built but is small-scale, managed independently and decentralized, with little sharing, and the efficiency of application exploitation is still limited. The rate of people with smartphones is not high. Some departments, sectors and localities have not really paid attention to digital transformation work...
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that digital transformation is one of the top priorities in the leadership, direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee. From the current situation and difficulties of the locality, Ha Tinh hopes to receive useful solutions and approaches for departments, branches, districts, towns and cities to accelerate the implementation of tasks and work to improve the provincial DTI index, promoting socio-economic development.
Director of the Department of Information and Communications Dau Tung Lam: The workshop is one of the "steps" for Ha Tinh to successfully implement the goal of comprehensive digital transformation in developing digital infrastructure, digital databases, creating a foundation for developing digital government, digital economy, towards digital society .
At the workshop, presentations from specialized units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Public Security, and enterprises specializing in digital platforms and digital technology assessed the current situation in the implementation of digital transformation in Ha Tinh; ensuring information security in digital transformation; issues regarding implementation resources and some difficulties and challenges that need to be overcome; exchanging and introducing successful models and new forms to mobilize resources to implement comprehensive digital transformation for the entire population on all three pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society.

He emphasized that, regarding digital government activities, it is necessary to deploy an open data portal; exploit data services available on NDXP (national data integration and sharing platform); deploy digital platforms such as: centralized data analysis and processing platform, overall and unified management platform; online monitoring platform; virtual assistant for officials, civil servants, and public employees; continue to promote online public services.
Regarding digital economic activities, it is necessary to increase the proportion of digital economy in GRDP; promote digital technology enterprises and digital platforms; and promote the number of transactions on e-commerce platforms.
