Ha Tinh has an individual honored as a national outstanding blood donor.

(Baohatinh.vn) - With 30 whole blood donations, Ms. Tu Thi Tuyen (born in 1989) is the only individual from Ha Tinh to be honored as a typical national voluntary blood donor in 2025.

On the afternoon of June 5, in Hanoi , the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation organized a program to honor 100 outstanding voluntary blood donors nationwide in 2025.

Leaders of central ministries, departments and branches and outstanding volunteers were honored to attend the program.

This is the 17th year this annual event has been held since the Prime Minister decided to establish the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (2008).

Each year, 100 outstanding individuals from across the country are selected for honor. To date, 1,700 delegates have been honored at the national level.

The delegates honored this year are outstanding individuals from all over the country, who donated nearly 4,800 units of blood and platelets. Of these, there are 29 female delegates and 71 male delegates; the oldest delegate is 60 years old, the youngest is 28 years old.

Ms. Tu Thi Tuyen is the only individual from Ha Tinh to be honored this year.

These are examples of regular blood donation, repeat blood donation, blood donation in emergency situations, and actively encourage others to participate in voluntary blood donation.

Ms. Tu Thi Tuyen has donated blood 30 times and has registered to donate tissues and organs to medicine after her death.

Ha Tinh is honored to have an individual honored as a typical national voluntary blood donor in 2025, Ms. Tu Thi Tuyen (employee of Novopham Company Limited; residing in Trung Phu village, Thach Thang commune, Ha Tinh city).

Ms. Tuyen has been participating in voluntary blood donation since 2011 - when she was a pharmacy student. To date, she has donated 30 times with a total of 7,500ml of whole blood; many of these times she donated blood directly in emergency cases.

As a former employee of the Thach Thang Commune Health Station (Ha Tinh City), now working in the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Tuyen has the right knowledge and awareness about safe blood donation. Not only does she directly participate in blood donation, she also actively encourages relatives, friends, and colleagues to participate in voluntary blood donation.

Ms. Tuyen also regularly participates in charity programs to help people in difficult circumstances and has registered to donate organs to medicine after her death.
