Ha Tinh won 3 medals at the "Sen Village Singing" Festival

On the afternoon of May 19, in Vinh City ( Nghe An ), the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province to organize the closing ceremony of the National Mass Art Performance "Sen Village Singing".

The program is part of the Sen Village Festival to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Taking place from May 16-19, the national "Sen Village Singing" Mass Art Festival attracted the participation of 30 mass art troupes from provinces and cities across the country. The festival brought to the public 30 art programs with hundreds of unique performances, elaborately staged, deeply expressing patriotism, national pride and sacred feelings for beloved Uncle Ho.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) delivered a speech summarizing the festival.

Participating in this festival, the Ha Tinh delegation brought an art program with the theme "Enjoying the Lotus Village Festival, remembering the People even more". The program was staged by the provincial Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion with a duration of 30 minutes, including 5 performances: Enjoying the Lotus Village Festival, remembering the People even more (a set of folk songs with Vi and Giam), Returning to the Lotus Village in the lotus season (female choir), Singing forever in the name of the People - Ho Chi Minh (solo and accompanying dance), People return to visit their hometown (modern folk songs with Vi and Giam) and the performance Ha Tinh remembers the people (group singing and dancing).

The program focuses on expressing the spirit of the theme praising Uncle Ho, expressing the respectful remembrance and deep gratitude of the Vietnamese people in general and the people of Ha Tinh in particular for the beloved leader of the nation.

The folk song suite "Vui hoi Lang Sen em nho than nguoi" by the Ha Tinh troupe was one of the 7 performances chosen to be performed at the closing ceremony of the festival.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 36 gold medals and 62 silver medals to outstanding performances; and 20 certificates of merit to 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the program participating in the festival.

Of which, the Ha Tinh delegation had 3/5 performances winning medals including: 1 gold medal (performance: Enjoying the Sen Village Festival, remembering Him more) and 2 silver medals (performances: Singing forever in His name - Ho Chi Minh, He returns to visit his hometown).

Musician Nguyen Sy Chinh - Director of Ha Tinh Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion was awarded a certificate of merit for outstanding individual by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
