Proactively respond to storm number 3
Due to the influence of storm No. 3, there is moderate to heavy rain in Ha Tinh , the rainfall measured from 7:00 a.m. on July 21 to 7:00 a.m. on July 22 ranges from 8 to 25 mm. Water levels at hydrological stations are below alert level I.

Water levels in large reservoirs are at average levels, however, to guard against possible unusually heavy rainfall, the province has directed localities and reservoir management units to proactively deploy measures to ensure safety of works and downstream areas.
Faced with the risk of big waves and strong winds at sea, functional units and local authorities have notified, counted and instructed 3,983 vehicles/10,994 people to know the developments and direction of the storm so that they can proactively avoid it. All vehicles have anchored at safe ports and yards. The province assigned the Provincial Military Command to direct the Provincial Border Guard Command to implement the sea ban at 12:00 on July 21.
To proactively respond to the circulation of storm No. 3, implementing the request of the Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued 2 telegrams assigning specific tasks to local departments and branches to urgently deploy response work to storm No. 3.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment issued a document on ensuring the safety of irrigation works and dykes to cope with the impact of storms. Localities and units have deployed natural disaster prevention work under the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Ha Tinh Newspaper regularly publishes disaster forecasts and warnings, and instructions from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control so that the government and people can proactively prevent and respond promptly.
Storms cause heavy damage to Ha Tinh
Due to the impact of the storm, there were losses of people and property in Ha Tinh. According to preliminary statistics, there were 2 missing people in the province, including 1 crew member, Hoang Van Minh (born in 1967, residing in Dong Tay village, Co Dam commune) and 1 resident, Le Huy Chien (born in 1987, residing in Tran Phu ward, suspected of being swept away while swimming in the sea. Currently, the locality is organizing forces to search.

As of 7:00 a.m. on July 22, 58 fishing boats had been sunk by waves. There are currently 5 boats that have not been pulled ashore, including 2 boats in Hai Ninh ward, 1 boat in Ky Khang commune, 1 boat in Co Dam commune, and 1 boat in Loc Ha commune.
A tourist boat with 30 passengers and 4 crew members sank at Boc Island, Thien Cam Commune. The border guards mobilized a large fishing boat to successfully rescue all 34 people and bring them to safety on the evening of July 19.

The storm also caused 154 houses to have their roofs blown off; many trees to fall; 441 Aquilaria trees in Phuc Trach and Vu Quang communes to fall; many crop areas were affected.
