Ba Hon Dam is where visitors can walk on the sea, while Hon Nghe has wild scenery, unique caves and cage fish farming.
YouTuber Khuong Nhut Minh from Vinh Long has just introduced two beach destinations in the West for the summer. If you have been to Phu Quoc, Nam Du, and Hai Tac archipelago, you still have other new options. Among them, Hon Nghe and Ba Hon Dam are pristine, and the cost is also very affordable, only about 1.5 million VND.
Three Hon Dam
The destination is Ba Lua archipelago, Son Hai commune, Kien Luong district, about 80 km from Rach Gia city, and about 30 km from Ha Tien, convenient to travel on National Highway 80 and Provincial Road 11.
Three Hon Dams include Dam Duong, Dam Duoc and Dam Gieng, each lagoon has different landscapes such as green mangrove forests, clear blue beaches with many small pebbles, and freshwater wells providing domestic water for the people.
The destination is located in a shallow sea area so the water level is not high, visitors can walk from one island to another to enjoy the scenery. In addition, when the tide is low, the beaches on the lagoon reveal seafood such as clams, scallops, green clams, mussels, moon snails, sea urchins... visitors can wade in the sea to catch snails to bring home to cook.

To get to Ba Hon Dam, visitors depart from Hon Chong pier, Binh An commune. Tickets to Ba Hon Dam are sold at 250,000 VND per person for a round trip during the day. It takes about 40 minutes by speedboat from the port to the tourist destination. There are trips every day from 8am to 8:30am, except for Saturdays and Sundays when the boat will have more trips, and visitors can go from 6:30am to 9:30am.
Ba Hon Dam has enough overnight accommodation and dining services. If you travel on your own, you can buy fresh seafood such as crabs, shrimp, or choose seafood hotpot, fried rice... at affordable prices, about 200,000-250,000 VND per person. You can buy a tour at the pier, including lunch, round-trip transportation from 380,000 to 470,000 VND.

Hon Nghe
The destination is also in the Ba Lua archipelago, Hon Nghe commune, Kien Luong district. Coming to Hon Nghe, visitors will take a boat to see the large and small islands in Ha Tien Bay, which is likened to Ha Long Bay of the Southwest sea.
The beautiful destinations of Hon Nghe are concentrated at Da Chuong cape, the highlight is Lien Ton Co Tu pagoda with three sides facing the sea, watching the sunset is extremely beautiful. The pagoda has a main hall located in a unique mountain cave and a 20 meter high Buddha statue in the air, is the highlight of the island and a place to express the beliefs of the local people.
In addition, the cave system on Hon Nghe also attracts visitors who love to explore , such as Phat Co Don cave, Gia Long cave, Quyt cave... The beaches on Hon Nghe are not too large but have attractive clear blue sea water. In addition, Hon Nghe is also home to many households raising fish in cages, giving visitors the opportunity to visit and experience fishing at sea. You can order lunch and enjoy dishes made from cobia, grouper, etc. on the rafts of the people.

To get to Hon Nghe, visitors depart from Ba Hon market pier in Kien Luong town, travel by iron boat or wooden boat to the island. There are two time slots: 8:30 and 11:30, travel time from the pier to Hon Nghe is about 2 hours.
The boat ticket costs 70,000 VND per person, and a motorbike costs from 40,000 to 70,000 VND per person. However, visitors must stay overnight on Hon Nghe if they do not want to return too early at noon. Hon Nghe has overnight accommodations with room rates from 200,000 to 300,000 VND, all with sea views and amenities. The cost of food and accommodation for two days and one night on Hon Nghe is about 900,000 VND per person traveling on their own. Visitors take the boat at noon and return to the mainland the next morning.
