Having gone through two long and glorious resistance wars, entering the period of renovation and in the journey of strong development today, press agencies have made an important contribution to propagating the Party and State's guidelines and policies; spreading good examples, replicating good practices; fighting against refuting false information, protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Up to now, the city's press has continued to develop and mature remarkably with the genres of print, audio, visual and electronic newspapers. After implementing the Government's press planning, the city now has 3 press agencies, including: Hai Phong Press and Media Center under the City Party Committee, Cua Bien Magazine under the City Literature and Arts Association, and Science Magazine under Hai Phong University.
In addition, the city also has 3 press agencies of the armed forces: Vietnam Navy Newspaper, Military Region 3 Newspaper, Hai Phong Security Special Issue under the People's Police Newspaper, along with 56 representative offices and resident reporters of central newspapers and magazines and many other provinces and cities with nearly 600 journalists, reporters, collaborators working in the field of journalism, more than 400 members of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Proud of the glorious tradition of the past 100 years, with the development results of Hai Phong and the press work in the first 6 months of 2025, it has created an important driving force for the agencies directing, orienting, managing, guiding the press, and press agencies to continue to have closer and more effective coordination. Speaking at the conference, Party Central Committee member and Hai Phong City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau hoped and believed that the city's journalists would continue to maintain their political will, promote professional ethics, and innovate professionally to meet the requirements and tasks in the new context.

In the coming time, the Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee requested that press agencies and journalists in the city closely follow the city's political tasks, promptly propagate the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, and the development orientation of Hai Phong.
In the immediate future, we will focus on disseminating information on streamlining the organizational structure, rearranging two-level administrative units, merging Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city; preparing and organizing party congresses at all levels, towards the 17th Hai Phong City Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress...

In which, Journalist Pham Thi Thu Hang - Deputy Head of the Representative Office of Vietnam Law Newspaper in the Red River Delta in Hai Phong was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
