Hai Phong organizes a special art program to open the 2025 Red Flamboyant Festival

The program “Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up” is expected to last more than 2 hours, divided into 2 main parts. The celebration part has the participation of Party and State leaders; commemorative speeches; awarding the title of Heroic City to Hai Phong city.

Part two is a special art program consisting of 3 chapters: Hai Phong - Land of talented people; Epic of bravery and determination to win; and Hai Phong - Faith and aspiration to rise up, aiming to depict important historical marks of Hai Phong over time.

The program will feature artists: People's Artist Khanh Hoa, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh (Sao Mai Diem Hen), Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, singers Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Phuong Linh, Hoang Bach, Anh Tu, Lam Bao Ngoc, Dinh Quang Dat (Vietnam Idol)... The artists will perform the songs: "The Party Flag", "The Party is My Life", "Marching to Thanh To", "Hai Phong Epic", "Echo of Uncle Ho in the Autumn of the Port City", "My Hometown Port", "Hai Phong My Childhood", "Vietnamese Smiles", "We Are the World"...

Taking on the highlight performance of the program, singer Tung Duong will perform two songs “Red Flamboyant City – Hai Phong Takes Off to Fly Up” in the grand opening scene. These are the most unique and familiar songs to the public about Hai Phong, both traditional and contemporary.

In the art program “Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up”, singer Tung Duong will perform a mashup of the two songs “The Party Flag - The Party is my life”. The male singer’s performance combined with impressive stage design aims to affirm that the birth of the Party is the guiding light for the workers’ movement and the national liberation movement.

Sharing about the program, singer Tung Duong said that participating in the special art program “Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up” is an opportunity to sublimate emotions in a space rich in history and shining with revolutionary spirit. “Hai Phong to me has always been a land with its own identity – a romantic but also very individualistic city. Hai Phong is also the place that gave birth to and nurtured many artistic talents.”

The program also features hundreds of professional and amateur artists and actors – people who are together writing the epic of the Port City in the language of art. The program is elaborately staged with modern performance technology systems such as 3D Mapping, Laser Mapping, and diverse and colorful lighting effects.

The event also aims to promote the image of Hai Phong city as a young, dynamic, modern, internationally integrated city; enhance Hai Phong tourism brand, attract domestic and foreign tourists, invite investors, and promote Hai Phong economy through culture - tourism.

The program took place at the Square in front of the Political - Administrative Center in the new urban area of ​​Bac Song Cam, Hai Phong city; broadcast live on VTV1, Hai Phong Radio and Television Station, relayed on other stations and digital platforms.
