Vietnam Airlines announced that it will accept and transport relief goods from agencies, organizations, and businesses free of charge on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group, including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and Vasco.

Specifically, relief goods will be transported free of charge by Vietnam Airlines Group, excluding fuel surcharges and related fees, and will be given priority on flights from airports nationwide to Noi Bai ( Hanoi ), Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Van Don (Quang Ninh), and Dien Bien airports.

Organizations and individuals wishing to transport goods to support flood and storm relief efforts in the northern provinces can contact the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels; the People's Committees of provinces and cities; the Vietnam Red Cross at all levels; and charitable funds (established and recognized by state agencies) to receive free transportation.

Similarly, Bamboo Airways officially announced that it will provide free transportation of relief supplies to people in the northern provinces affected by floods from September 11th to September 26th.

At the same time, agencies and units needing to send goods must submit an official letter and a detailed list of relief items. Bamboo Airways will not accept goods containing batteries or items containing hazardous materials to ensure aviation security and safety.

A representative from Vietjet Air stated that the airline will waive shipping fees for relief goods from domestic and international organizations and individuals sent to flood-affected areas from now until September 20th.

In addition, Vietjet will also donate 5,000 VND from each ticket sold between now and September 30th to support people in restoring their lives after the storms and floods; the estimated total amount donated will be approximately 5 billion VND.

Currently, the airline has allocated 2 billion VND to purchase food, clean water, medicine, and other essential supplies to promptly help people overcome difficulties and mitigate damage.
