On the afternoon of February 22nd, many moviegoers gathered at Beta Tran Quang Khai cinema (District 1) - one of the first places in Ho Chi Minh City to sell tickets for the film "Peach, Pho and Piano". Because this cinema only accepts tickets purchased in person at the counter and online orders are not possible, some people arrived several hours early to choose their showtimes.
The film, directed and written by artist Phi Tien Son, was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Previously, it premiered on the first day of the Lunar New Year (February 10th), initially only at the National Film Center in Hanoi. After more than a week, on February 18th, the film garnered attention on social media, prompting the Vietnam Film Department to propose nationwide screenings. Following this proposal, two private cinema chains, Cinestar and Beta, joined the effort.
