Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that tourism activities in the capital during the Lunar New Year were basically safe and joyful, without street vendors, beggars, or tourist solicitations. However, there are still tourist destinations that have not ensured good environmental sanitation, especially after New Year's Eve.
"The Department's inspection team has inspected a number of tourist destinations, including the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ngoc Son Temple area and around Hoan Kiem Lake... In the coming time, the Department will strengthen this work," said Ms. Dang Huong Giang.
