On November 18th, the police in Ben Luc commune, Tay Ninh province, announced that they had returned a wallet containing money and personal documents to Mr. Truong Phuoc Thien, thanks to the honesty of a local lottery ticket vendor.
Earlier, at approximately 3 PM on November 14, 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (40 years old, residing in Tuy An Nam commune, Dak Lak province; currently temporarily residing in Ben Luc commune) discovered a wallet lying on the side of the road while selling lottery tickets. Inside the wallet were 4.5 million VND and several important personal documents. Ms. Thanh immediately took it to the Ben Luc commune police station to report the find and ask for help in locating the owner.
After receiving the report, the Ben Luc commune police verified the information and identified the owner of the wallet as Mr. Truong Phuoc Thien, residing in My Yen commune, Tay Ninh province, who had dropped the wallet while on business.
Mr. Thien went to the commune's police station to retrieve his property and expressed his sincere gratitude to Ms. Thanh.
Ms. Thanh's actions contribute to spreading positive values in the community. This deed not only helps those who have lost their belongings regain their trust, but also serves as an example of honesty.
