Attending the trip were District Youth Union Secretary - Chairman of the District Youth Union Council Nguyen Duy An and 30 Youth Union officials, members, and members of the District Young Theory Club.
In a solemn atmosphere, with respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the delegation offered incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau. After the ceremony, the delegation visited the exhibition area, listened to the introduction of the biography, revolutionary activities, loyalty and indomitability of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau. Ms. Vo Thi Sau was the first death row inmate in Con Dao, also the youngest female prisoner, and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State on August 2, 1993.
Through the activities, the youth of Chau Thanh district realized the heroic sacrifice for the cause of national liberation of the heroic martyrs, the noble ideal of Ms. Vo Thi Sau is forever a shining example for the young generation of Chau Thanh district to follow, to strive, study and practice to follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers to build the country to be more and more prosperous and happy.
