The school yard is a familiar practice place for RED members, the art club from the International Training Institute ISB - Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , every weekday evening or weekend afternoon and afternoon.
Youth Pulse
RED currently has more than 50 members and many popular performances. One of RED's explosive performances that is often mentioned is the "Big Hands 2022: BESIDE U" concert - a big event of the school.
Nguyen Son Mai Vi, co-founder of RED Club, said she wanted to raise the group's brand to a higher level. "We are really serious about our performances. What's interesting is that many of the members were active in at least one other dance group before joining RED. Some of them joined clubs in high school, some of them trained when they were younger," she revealed.

To have memorable moments when every step is in sync, every movement is graceful, every young heart blends on stage like small flames combining into a brilliant source of energy, shining together, everyone trains very hard in both skills and physical strength.
For Huynh Bao Thuan, RED's director, this club is not only a place to indulge his passion and have the opportunity to show his abilities to the public, but also a reliable bridge for people to express their feelings and support each other in their studies and life. This second-year student also learned how to manage time, think creatively, and communicate effectively and confidently.
Youth rendezvous
The Badass is a dance group under the Dance Group (DG) Club of Gia Dinh High School (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). The group has more than 60 members and owns a YouTube channel with more than 2.4 million views. The Badass youth are not only talented and passionate about art but also have excellent academic achievements.
Chung Ngoc Yen Nhi (11th grade student, Head of The Badass) said that the group did not have much difficulty balancing between studying and activities. "This is one of the schools that is highly appreciated for its quality of study and discipline. Everyone has good self-awareness, knows what to prioritize, and cannot let their love of dancing get in the way of practicing and performing and neglect their studies" - she affirmed.
Dance clubs are popular because they suit the youthful, dynamic nature of the age group. In the photo, The Badass performs on the first day of school.
In the city-level 12th grade excellent student competition for the 2022-2023 school year, Trinh Hoang Xuan Nghi, a member of the group, won third prize in English. Nghi is also one of the school's outstanding students, consistently ranking first in the class. Member Dong Nguyen Khanh Ngan won first prize in literature for the 2019-2020 school year, entering the top 4 finalists of the 2020 Golden Swallow.
The Badass has become an ideal youth meeting place for students. Many students after graduation still come back to join in the fun, guide and support their juniors so that the group can grow stronger and have more interesting activities. Mac Duong Bach Khoa - the group's professional advisor - currently works in the field of communications. This former student of the 2015 - 2018 class expressed: "We love dancing. When we dance, we have fun, feel healthy and want to convey that wonderful feeling to everyone."
In recent years, the Citywide Student Dance Group Festivals organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House in collaboration with schools have received enthusiastic responses. The competing teams have many different colors, personalities and performance styles, pursuing diverse music genres, choreography, and attractive song compositions.
It can be said that, along with academic clubs, sports , arts, and entertainment clubs are also an indispensable part of the school life of Gen Z today. In particular, dancing brings health benefits, helps young people improve flexibility, better musical sense, and reduces the risk of depression.
According to Mr. Huynh Thanh Phu, Principal of Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), artistic activities at school should be left to students to come up with ideas and implement, so that they can bring to their peers products that reflect the trends of the times. This helps students form and perfect the skills and qualities of young people. Schools need to create many playgrounds for students to freely create, aiming to promote a proactive and positive role, thereby asserting themselves and promoting the inner strength and creative ideas of the new generation.
"With students' products, schools need to respect and allow them to express themselves freely while still managing their customs and traditions, helping them to orient their outfits appropriately, paying attention to content with special elements... Gen Z has advantages in foreign languages and technology, absorbs quickly from many sources, knows how to learn and transform in their own way to become their own products or innovate. Parents and schools need to encourage students to overcome their own limits, create many breakthrough and meaningful products" - Mr. Phu acknowledged.
