Tony Binh Duong won double titles at the Tiger Cup 2025 "inside cage" playground

(NLDO) - The Tiger Cup 2025 street football tournament has concluded after two days of competition at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

The 2025 Tiger Cup will feature 64 teams, divided into two divisions, A and B, marking its return after six years.

The exciting atmosphere from the opening day attracted a large number of spectators and amateur players, especially when the tournament also had the participation of central defender Bui Tien Dung (The Cong Viettel ), further increasing the attraction of the tournament.

In the A-class final on the evening of September 7, Tony Binh Duong defeated the Water Supply Union 3-0 to win the championship, in which Vu Quoc Hung, the 2018 Vietnam Futsal Golden Ball, shone brightly.

The team continued to assert their strength when they defeated Blockchain Hub (B-class champion) 3-0 in the Super Cup that took place later. Completing the double title, this amateur team also won all the individual awards.

According to Master, Lawyer Vo Dan Mach - Head of the Organizing Committee, Tiger Cup 2025 is not only a sports playground but also contributes to promoting the street football movement in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is organized in a cage format, bringing innovation but still maintaining the typical closeness.

This is also considered a warm-up step for the teams towards the tournament scheduled to take place in October in Ho Chi Minh City.

Here, the best strikers not only compete for the championship but also reach the dream of experiencing the most prestigious football class on the planet when competing on the field with world legends from Man United: Dimitar Berbatov, Nemanja Vidic, Luis Nani and Wes Brown.
