On September 2nd, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh signed Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg extending the National Achievements Exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day until September 15th to meet the needs and aspirations of the people and to provide them with more time to visit and experience the activities and events at the Exhibition.
Observations show that, even on weekdays, a large number of local residents, students, and visitors from various localities came to visit and experience the exhibits. Besides the exhibition booths showcasing rich history and innovative achievements, the series of folk art performances by local communities and professional art groups continued to demonstrate their appeal, attracting considerable attention from both locals and tourists.

Performances by theaters under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism always receive considerable attention from audiences.
The vibrant festive atmosphere was maintained continuously from the moment the Exhibition opened, with a notable highlight being the performances that not only recreated traditional melodies but also featured elaborately staged plays with the participation of many major theater groups. The Viet Bac Folk Music and Dance Theater, the Vietnam Tuong Theater, the Hanoi Cheo Theater, and others presented many representative excerpts, showcasing the rich tradition of national folk art.
At fixed times, audiences have the opportunity to enjoy the art of Tuong opera with its red masks, the graceful melodies of Cheo opera, or the solemn and elegant Hue royal court dances.
During a meeting held on September 3rd between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant units, and VinGroup, detailed plans were agreed upon for several outdoor activities, including organizing tours for groups of visitors, especially groups of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veterans, and students from various schools.

Many schools have organized field trips and experiential learning activities for their students.
This is not only an activity to pay tribute to previous generations, but also helps future generations access and appreciate the country's achievements, while simultaneously fostering interest in traditional national art.
According to the Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Nguyen Xuan Bac, all affiliated units are ready to implement and continue maintaining activities at the highest level as directed: "I have discussed with the relevant units; the areas of the 12 theaters during the exhibition period have attracted the attention and interest of a large number of people. With a spirit of service, we are honored to carry out the work for an additional 10 days."
The enthusiastic participation of local communities also contributed to the diverse overall picture. Art troupes from Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, An Giang, Ha Giang provinces, and others brought performances closely related to daily life, providing people with many rich experiences. This affirmed the strong vitality of traditional culture even in contemporary life.
Traditional melodies and opportunities to interact with artisans always receive enthusiastic responses from the general public.
The sounds of gongs and drums from the Central Highlands artisans, the Xoe dance of the Thai people, the Quan Ho folk songs of the Bac Ninh artisans, the Vi and Giam melodies of Nghe An, the Then singing and Dan Tinh playing of the Tay people, the Khen dance of the Mong people, or the Khmer melodies of Southern Vietnam... create a colorful fusion.
These are not just simple performances, but a journey that takes the public back to the roots of culture, a convergence of the finest elements from all regions of the country. Performances that could previously only be experienced in specific locations are now brought together on one grand "stage".
Beyond mere performances, many acts are interactive, with artists engaging and immersing themselves with the audience through dances and songs, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This truly reflects the spirit of the Exhibition, which uses culture as a bridge to bring people closer together, fostering pride and love for their homeland.
The National Achievements Exhibition is not only an opportunity to widely showcase the cultural identity of our homeland, but also a chance for learning and exchanging experiences among art troupes. For the audience, it is a journey of discovery, helping them to better understand and appreciate the precious heritage of the nation.
