The aforementioned philanthropist is Tran Ngoc Son (50 years old, originally from Vinh Thuy commune), currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Wishing to have the opportunity to express gratitude to war veterans at this special time for the country, Mr. Son used his own money to support transportation and movie tickets so that the veterans could all enjoy the film " Red Rain" .
“In Quang Tri province in particular and the whole country in general, there are many veterans who fought for national independence. With my small contribution, I want to express my gratitude and give them a meaningful trip, to watch a film set in a battlefield where perhaps some of them once fought. The film ' Red Rain' is very good, and I want the veterans to have a beautiful memory,” Mr. Son said.

Yesterday morning (September 8th), 600 veterans in Vinh Thuy commune gathered at the commune headquarters and together boarded a bus to travel to Nam Dong Ha ward and go to the cinema to enjoy a movie.
Mr. Quyet said that many veterans were visiting the cinema for the first time, and after watching the film, everyone was filled with indescribable emotions... The very realistic scenes in the film reminded many people of a time of bloodshed and hardship, and they felt fortunate to still be able to sit together in the cinema today, watching a meaningful film.
