BTO-In 2 days (23-24) at the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phan Thiet City, the 3rd Binh Thuan Province Open Table Tennis Clubs Tournament - 2024 took place.
The tournament had the participation of 80 athletes from 17 units inside and outside the province such as Ho Chi Minh City , Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau ... with many dramatic matches, especially men's singles and men's doubles in the semi-finals and quarter-finals.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh - Chairman of Binh Thuan Province Table Tennis Federation assessed : This open table tennis tournament aims to respond to the Campaign "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho", contributing to serving the cultural and spiritual life of the local people. According to the assessment of the Organizing Committee, the matches of the tournament were attractive, dramatic, attracting a large number of viewers and cheering. Through the tournament, many promising faces were discovered who had a great influence on the movement of practicing and competing in table tennis .
This is a table tennis tournament that brings together many young players of all age groups from clubs in and outside the province to compete, learn, and share experiences to improve their professional skills.
After 2 days of competition, the 3rd Binh Thuan Province Open Table Tennis Club Championship awarded the Men's Singles Championship Cup (age group from 16 to 49) to Nguyen Tu Cuong (La Gi), the silver medal went to Phan Minh Trung (Saigon Ping Pong - Anh Sang), 2 bronze medals went to Ly An (Binh Thuan Military Command) and Huynh Hoang Vu (Gia Trang - Tanh Linh Club). In the same category of Men's Singles for the age group from 50 years old and above, the gold medal went to Pham Hai Quang (Thu Duc City), the silver medal went to Nguyen Van Thuy (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), 2 bronze medals went to Nguyen Duy Hoang (Thu Duc City), Duong Van Sau (Saigon Ping Pong - Anh Sang).
The organizers also awarded medals of all kinds for men's doubles (2 age groups) and women's doubles .
